I was lucky enough to go to an advanced screening of Kingsman: The Secret Service. Watching the trailer a month ago made me interested to watch this movie since I’m a fan of spy movies especially the 007 movies. The movie is about a young teenager from London called “Eggsy” who is chosen by a professional agent from a super secret organisation who call themselves the “Kingsmen” to go through the deadliest “job interview” to be the next Kingsman spy.That said I must say I was not disappointed. The action is fast-paced and there’s a lot of comedy.The movie is sort of like 007 meets Men in Black. The movie obviously parodies the old traditional 007 formula especially of the Roger Moore era but this is done in a good way. Kingsman; The Secret Service reminded me how great the old 007 formula was until it was changed until Daniel Craig’s portrayal of the agent. After watching this movie Daniel Craig better take notes.

As a female, it's hard to find hard core porno that looks good to me. This film does it. Rocco plays Tarzan (ape man) and his Jane is as beautiful as Rocco is handsome. There is a good enough story line to get lost in, and since the sex is a new discovery for Tarzan, it is most exciting. The African monkeys, elephants and jungle add enough background to make you appreciate the plot. I love this one and I'm looking for another Rocco movie to wear out.

Emman, a policeman, needs his former best friend, Erika, to be an asset to a mission. Craziness is all I have to say. I laughed as much as I expected. I liked the way they're breaking the fourth wall, you know if you watch classic Filipino films like Rene Requiestas introducing the director in the middle of the movie. The chemistry between Coco Martin and Vice Ganda is absolutely effective. The fighting scenes in this movie are better than some other serious Action Drama films. It gives justice to the action genre through the production design and choreography. It was satisfying to watch it with laughs but there are some obviously unsettling moods. The supporting love story, JaDine, is out of place. Another problem was the movie trying not to be awkward on drama scenes. It made the audience not care about that character.A new flavor for a Wenn Deramas movie. I must say this is a worth watching two-hour comed

After being a massive fan of the book for years, i was hoping for a better first movie. All the actors were perfect the only problem i had was Jonathan Meyers is just not old enough in my opinion to be their dad. He pays an amazing part but it’s hard to believe he is their father when he doesn’t look much older than them. Hopefully they will stick more to the book next time, i know it’s hard to include all things in under 2 hrs but i was that lost at the end i had no idea what was going on. Nothing was mentioned about Jace and Alec being bound and wasn’t explained how Luke became a werewolf. I was dragged by mom to the cinema to watch the movie and just as I imagined, the movie was awful.Don't get me wrong, the cast did well on portraying their characters but there's just so much they could do. First and foremost, the script was poorly written. they made the characters too chatty instead of just digging in to the characters'pain. You know silence goes a long way. Because of the lack of silence in the movie (and its characters) Naval and Valdez disappoint to give the viewers the feel of reality in the movie. Also, the lines on the confrontation were weak and lazy. The part where Bea and Dawn confronted each other was lifeless not how the actors conveyed it but the lines itself is dry. There was not enough fire in between the lines and have yet again failed to give the viewers the truth about confrontations and infidelity. Furthermore, what's up with the corny line "...team sawi, maging team wagi naman tayo"?!? I mean that's just tacky and not appropriate to the age the actors were portraying. I mean I imagine saying that line if I was in high school. The story was somewhat realistic because it is driven by pain, however it was dreary shown and executed poorly.
Philippine film industry can do so much better than this.

It is so pathetic that it makes you wonder if this is the kind of stuff required to make people laugh in the future ? Bad films should not be reviewed or analyzed but this one is a classic case where from acting to script to direction to almost every Dept. sunk to the limits. the only thing that this film has is jokes centering around that one body part of male and female, and the respect it showed towards it is amazing. It is not just lack of brains but also a lack of sensibility and morality by everybody involved in the making of such mindless effort. The film evokes sheer disgust.

Apocalypto (2006) Full Movie

As the Mayan kingdom faces its decline, the rulers insist the key to prosperity is to build more temples and offer human sacrifices. Jaguar Paw, a young man captured for sacrifice, flees to avoid his fate.
In the Maya civilization, a peaceful tribe is brutally attacked by warriors seeking slaves and human beings for sacrifice for their gods. Jaguar Paw hides his pregnant wife and his son in a deep hole nearby their tribe and is captured while fighting with his people. An eclipse spares his life from the sacrifice and later he has to fight to survive and save his beloved family.
Say what you want about Mel Gibson, but he knows how to make an authentically real statement about the human condition. The movie is about civilization and how smaller is better. There are some rain-forest dwelling American natives, somewhere in America where there are jaguars and monkeys. Then there are some "civilized" natives, with a huge society of nobles, serfs, slaves and sacrificial victims who get their hearts torn out and heads chopped off on top of a pyramid, for the appeasement of their gods and for the sake of controlling and entertaining the "citizens." Our noble small villagers of the forest are ultimately hunted down and enslaved by the more organized, and totally vicious, pyramid builders. This is a story of how one of these villagers deals with the horrific trials that his captors heap upon him. The whole movie is in an ancient native language, subtitled in English, and it lends an air of excruciating authenticity to the happenings. One gets the feeling of being a time traveler, as this 500-year-old world seems

The Scorch Trials is an insanely action packed film. I loved every second of it, along with every other fan in the theater. Is it different from the book? Yes. It’s very different at times, but Wes took the best from the book and added it into the movie, along with filling in the blanks with terrifying Cranks and the relentlessness of WCKD. I don’t doubt that this movie will perform better than the first, if anything, it’ll blow up. The movie did not seem to have any faults from my eyes, and if anything, answered several questions that the first left unanswered. The ending is different from the book, though I fully trust Wes to wrap this series on a high note. While she's away promoting the book, Tom has a hard time keeping the house in order while at the same time coaching his football team, as the once happy family starts falling apart 
Look. I like Steve Martin. I liked him in his early films, like The Jerk, and liked him later in All of Me and LA Story. True, I walked out of The Man with Two Brains, but I wanted to give Cheaper by the Dozen a fair shake. I read no reviews, and had really warm memories of reading the book in the 1950's. It (the book) was a funny, warm family story. This film, however, is similar only in that there are 12 kids. This film was horrible, boring, and seemed to get longer by the minute. The kids' expressions were uniformly: roll your eyes, and say the equivalent of "Like Doh" or "Whatever." They spoke a rapid-fire lingo of sports announcers, and--before I go on--I say save your money. I am embarrassed for Steve Martin. There must be other ways to make a quick buck than churning out stuff like this. Read the book--it's old, but it's much better.
